Big Blu is an ongoing project exploring the encounter between two interconnected yet distinct realms: the world above the water’s surface and the submerged world below.

Presented as a solo exhibition on the island of Vrångö in the southern archipelago of Gothenburg in 2023, the works span pastel drawings, digitally manipulated images and 3D-printed sculptures. Across these different forms, the seahorse moves between physical and digital states — translated, fragmented and re-materialised through different representational systems
