The play ”the russian Babusjka” by Vladimir Sorokin is a play with three short acts, playing with the perspective of the russian history focusing on the woman (the babuskja) during the centuries.

To my grandmother, dressmaker Evi Alfredsson 1901 – 1966, whom I never met.
The Singer (2012). Photograph of a sewing machine positioned on the shoreline of the Turku archipelago, Finland, facing west toward Sweden. The work combines sound, image, and maritime orientation to address migration, memory, and intergenerational labor, forming an early exploration of themes later developed in my artistic research.

Without wind 2011
Without Wind (2011). Site-specific installation at Götafors in an old industrial landscape. Twelve oars placed parallel to the river articulate a state of suspended propulsion in a former industrial waterway. The work anticipates later investigations in Big Blu by addressing water as an active agent and by exploring the tension between surface, depth, movement, and human intervention.

Without tears 2011
Without Tears (2011) a site-specific installation, was realized during Kulturunatta in Mölndal in a former industrial water site where a river passes through an old factory building. Inspired by Werner Herzog’s Fitzcarraldo, the work features sculptural loudspeakers modeled on a gramophone horn, transmitting a recorded performance of Dido’s Lament. Water functions as both material condition and metaphor, framing sound as a medium of contact and transmission

Tombola parksalong 2011
In 2011, I was invited to participate in Tombola Parksalon, an annual outdoor exhibition in Azalea Park, Gothenburg, where invited artists realize site-specific works in a public landscape. For the event, I created an acoustic outdoor sculpture titled Breakfast, Said Victorine with Amazement.

KALASA 2011
KALASA (2011) is a drama-based sound installation developed from Jon Fosse’s play Sa ka la. Using my own reading of the text combined with acoustic sound environments, the work translates the play’s parallel spaces—a birthday celebration and a hospital ward—into a spatial installation addressing language, fragmentation, and the tension between festivity and mortality.

Pulputin 2010
Quadraginta noctibus, also referred to as Pulputin, is a small-scale sound sculpture composed of a continuous water sound and a pulsating red light synchronized with the movement of the water. The installation unfolds as a self-sustaining system, emphasizing duration, repetition, and subtle variation rather than linear progression.

Unabom 2010
Unabom is an experimental opera performance that engages with the figure of Ted Kaczynski and the ideological material of his manifesto as a point of departure for the libretto. The opera was composed collaboratively by Lars Hansson, Tony Blomdahl, and myself, and performed by mezzo-soprano Monica Danielsson.
