    Big Blu on Vrångö 2023

In the autumn of 2023, I presented a solo exhibition on the island of Vrångö in the southern archipelago of Gothenburg. The exhibition introduced Big Blu, an ongoing project that investigates the encounter between two interconnected yet distinct realms: the world above the water’s surface and the submerged world below.

In 2014, marking the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, I realized a site-specific sound work in Berlin. The work was based on field recordings collected on site during my time in the city and subsequently edited into a sound piece titled The Walls Within.

    Mirror on the wall 1990

In 1990, I participated in the Lahti AV Biennale in Finland with Kerro kerro…. The title draws on the Finnish version of the familiar “Mirror, mirror…” phrase, using kerro — “tell” — to invoke the mirror as something asked to reveal or foretell.
