    Birch Allé was a commissioned work created for the annual Naisten Kymppi, Finland’s largest sporting event for women, bringing together approximately 18,500 runners, joggers, and walkers of all ages in Helsinki each spring.

    Mirror on the wall 1990

    In 1990, I participated in the Lahti AV Biennale in Finland with Kerro kerro…. The title draws on the Finnish version of the familiar “Mirror, mirror…” phrase, using kerro — “tell” — to invoke the mirror as something asked to reveal or foretell.
